Production Operative - Dukinfield (SK16)

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy client based in Dukinfield (SK16).

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced industrial environment, offering consistent hours and the opportunity to secure long-term work.

This is a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate.

This role would suit candidates who have previously worked as a Production Operative, Factory Operative or Machine Operative.

Rates of Pay:

• £13.96 per hour

Shift Pattern:

As a Production Operative, you will work:

• Monday to Thursday
• 06:30 – 18:30

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Production Operative will include:

This is a physically demanding and hands-on position within a production environment. Due to the nature of the manufacturing process, the role can be dirty and warm, so candidates must be comfortable working in an industrial setting.

• Operating and monitoring production machinery
• Loading raw materials into machines
• Removing finished products from production lines
• Heavy lifting of materials and products (up to 25kg)
• Trimming, inspecting and quality checking finished goods
• Bagging and milling products
• Keeping work areas clean and safe at all times
• Following strict health and safety procedures
• Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets

Essential Skills:

To be successful in this role as a Production Operative, you will need:

• To be comfortable lifting up to 25kg regularly
• Comfortable working in a dirty and warm industrial environment
• Excellent reliability and punctuality
• Strong work ethic
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts consistently

Desirable Experience:

• Previous production or manufacturing experience
• Experience in heavy industrial or factory-based roles

Training:

• Full training provided
• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
