TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Nottingham that is seeking to appoint a dedicated Science Teacher. The school is committed to raising aspirations and achieving positive outcomes for all students, whilst providing staff with excellent support, development opportunities and clear routes for career progression.

The school is looking to appoint a Science Teacher on a full-time basis from September. The successful Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning, and building positive relationships with students to support academic success. This role would suit both experienced Science Teachers and ECTs looking to develop within a rewarding and ambitious setting.

The successful Science Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are encouraged to apply)

• A Science specialism with strong subject knowledge

• Experience teaching Science up to Key Stage 4 / KS4

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• The ability to engage and motivate students from a range of backgrounds

• A resilient, proactive and professional approach to teaching
