TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Hilton that is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. The school is looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2026 until July 2027, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm during term time. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will provide dedicated 1:1 support to an EYFS child with learning difficulties, helping them access classroom activities, develop key skills and enjoy a positive and rewarding experience at school.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or higher Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience supporting children within an EYFS or primary school setting
• Experience supporting children with learning difficulties
• A patient, caring and positive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A willingness to get involved and make learning fun
