Role Overview

Milk Education is recruiting a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a supportive, two‑form entry primary school in the L31 area of Liverpool. This position is suitable for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are keen to develop their practice and make a positive impact on pupils’ learning.

You will take full responsibility for a KS2 class, delivering high‑quality lessons and supporting pupils’ academic progress, independence, and personal development.


Classroom & School Support

  • Two‑form entry primary school within the local community
  • Experienced Classroom Teaching Assistant support
  • Additional SEN Teaching Assistant support where required
  • Collaborative staff team and supportive senior leadership

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum (KS2)
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEN
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
  • Promote high standards of behaviour, independence, and engagement
  • Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress, contributing to reporting and planning
  • Prepare pupils for statutory assessments where appropriate
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, the SENCO, and senior leadership

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are encouraged to apply
  • Experience teaching within KS2
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN is desirable
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and challenge pupils appropriately
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
