Specialist SEND Assistant
Location: Ponteland
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: September 2026

As a Specialist SEND Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, support staff and other exteral providers to support pupils’ learning, development and wellbeing. You will play an important role in helping children to build confidence, overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Whether you are an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or looking to begin a rewarding career in education, this could be the role for you.

• Has good communication and teamwork skills.

• Shows a genuine passion for building confidence and necessary environment for our most vulnerable learners.
