TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private day nursery in Leeds LS10 that is looking to welcome experienced Nursery Assistants to support across the setting. The nursery provides a caring and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to learn through play while developing confidence, independence and key early years skills.

The nursery are looking for several Nursery Assistants to work on a day-to-day basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children across all nursery rooms, working closely with the wider team to provide high-quality care, promote learning through the EYFS framework and ensure every child receives the support they need throughout the day.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• At least 6 months' previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting

• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

• A caring and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Flexibility to work across different nursery rooms as required
