Supply Teacher – Sefton School

 

Flexible Working Available Immediately
A large and welcoming Sefton secondary school is seeking reliable Supply Teachers to provide ongoing cover across multiple subject areas.

 

With planned staff absences expected throughout the academic year, the school is looking to build a trusted pool of teachers who can deliver high-quality lessons while maintaining consistency for students.

This role would suit teachers looking for flexibility while still enjoying regular work within the same school environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
  • Maintaining strong classroom routines.
  • Managing behaviour confidently and consistently.
  • Providing clear handovers to permanent teaching staff.
  • Supporting students to remain engaged and on task.
  • Upholding safeguarding and school policies.

We would love to hear from candidates who have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience working in secondary schools.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Adaptability and professionalism.
  • A positive and dependable approach to teaching.
