General Operative

Location: Ossett, West Yorkshire (WF5)
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 12hr shifts 06:00-18:00 & 18:00-06:00 rotating

AQUMEN Recruitment is recruiting for General Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Ossett. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term career prospects, immediate starts and the chance to join a friendly, supportive team.

The Role

As a General Operative, you'll be working within a busy manufacturing environment, helping produce high-quality tiling products while maintaining excellent quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
• Assisting with the manufacture and assembly of tiling products
• Manual handling of up to 25kg
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet specification
• Handling materials and supporting the production process
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

What We're Looking For

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred
• Comfortable carrying out manual handling and physical work
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexible to work the rotating shift pattern
