Foundry Operative - Stourbridge | £12.77 - £14.77 per hour | Rotating Shifts | Weekly Pay | Temp to Perm | Full Training Provided
People Solutions are currently recruiting for experienced Foundry Operatives to join our well-established client based in Stourbridge, West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, long-term work, weekly pay and genuine opportunities for progression within a busy manufacturing and workshop environment.
We are looking for candidates with experience across a range of departments including CNC machining, grinding, linishing, furnace operations and general foundry work.
This role would suit candidates with experience as a Foundry Operative, CNC Operative, Machine Operative, Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Furnace Operative, Workshop Operative, Engineering Operative, Metal Worker, Fabrication Operative or General Operative.

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Foundry Operative, your duties will include:
• Setting up and operating machinery to maximise production efficiency • Operating CNC machinery, grinding and linishing equipment where required • Supporting furnace operations and general foundry production activities • Using a range of hand tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively • Carrying out quality inspections to ensure products meet specification • Checking work against production instructions and quality standards • Maintaining stock levels of raw materials to support production • Keeping work areas clean, organised and compliant with Health & Safety procedures
Essential Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Previous foundry, manufacturing or workshop experience • Confidence operating machinery and production equipment • Ability to work effectively as part of a team • Excellent attention to detail and quality standards • Comfortable working in a manual manufacturing environment • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Desirable Experience
• Previous CNC machining experience • Previous grinding or linishing experience • Previous furnace or metalworking experience • Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment
Training Provided
• Full on-site training provided • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
