TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of welcoming nurseries across Manchester, ranging from friendly family-run settings to well-established nursery groups. These nurseries are committed to providing children with a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where learning through play is at the heart of everything they do, helping every child flourish during their early years.

The nurseries are looking to appoint enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners on a temporary basis, with opportunities for long-term placements for the right candidates. You will support children aged 6 months to 5 years, delivering engaging activities that encourage creativity, communication and social development. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be a positive role model, confidently managing groups of children, promoting positive behaviour and ensuring every child feels supported, valued and inspired to learn. Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable but not essential.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• A minimum of 3 months' experience working within a nursery or childcare setting in the UK

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years is desirable but not essential

• A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and learning through play

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills

• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach with a genuine passion for supporting young children

• SEND experience is desirable but not essential
