Warehouse Operative – Deeside

Hexagon Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and well-established business based in Deeside. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is looking to secure a long-term position with the opportunity of permanent employment.

Pay & Hours

• £12.85 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• 9:00am – 5:30pm
• Full-time hours
• Temp to Perm opportunity

Duties Include

• Loading and unloading deliveries, including larger household products
• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders
• Safely moving bulky items throughout the warehouse
• Making occasional customer deliveries using a company van
• General warehouse housekeeping and maintaining a tidy work area
• Assisting with recycling cardboard and packaging materials using on-site equipment
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse
• Working safely and following all health and safety procedures

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Previous warehouse experience
• A full, clean UK driving licence
• Be physically fit and comfortable with regular manual handling of larger and heavier items
• A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever required
• The ability to work well as part of a team and use their own initiative
• Good attention to detail and a reliable work ethic
