About the Role: Graduate Learning Support Assistant

  • Full-time, term-time position starting September 2026
  • Earn up to £540 per week
  • Monday-Friday, 32.5 hours per week
  • Based at a highly regarded Liverpool school, just 10 minutes from the city centre with excellent public transport links
  • Ideal for graduates with a 2:1 or above in Psychology, Education, or a related subject
  • Perfect experience for aspiring Teachers, Educational Psychologists, Speech & Language Therapists, or SEN professionals
  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional learning needs
  • Work alongside experienced teachers and support staff to create an inclusive, engaging learning environment

In this rewarding role, you'll support pupils both academically and personally, helping them build confidence, access learning, and make positive progress. You'll work closely with teachers and the wider support team to deliver targeted interventions and ensure every child receives the encouragement they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging classroom activities
  • Encourage pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
  • Adapt learning strategies to meet individual needs and promote engagement
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to support pupil progress

What We're Looking For

  • A graduate with a 2:1 or above in Psychology, Education, or a related subject
  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • An interest in SEN, child development, educational psychology, or teaching
