KPI Education are delighted to be working in partnership with a high-performing and forward-thinking secondary school in Watford to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Computer Science.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and innovative Computer Science teacher—open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners—to join a school where digital literacy, problem-solving, and technological curiosity are at the heart of the curriculum.

The Role

As a Teacher of Computer Science, you will join a dynamic and well-resourced department, delivering engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 for suitable candidates.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality Computer Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Teaching key topics such as programming, algorithms, data representation, and computer systems
  • Differentiating teaching to meet the needs of all learners
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, implementing strategies to raise attainment
  • Promoting high expectations of behaviour and academic achievement
  • Contributing to departmental planning and wider school initiatives

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards achieving it (ECTs encouraged to apply)
  • Has a degree in Computer Science or a related subject
