KPI Recruiting are on the lookout for Flexographic Printer Assistant for our client based in Crewe. Within this role you will supporting and assisting the press operator with the setup, material handling, and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of flexographic presses.

As a Flexographic Printer Assistant your working hours and days are:

• 4 out of 7 days per week
• 12 hour shift

The rate of pay as a Flexographic Printer Assistant is:

• £13.00- £14.00p/h

The duties and responsibilities as a Flexographic Printer Assistant are:

• Assist the press operator in setting up and running flexographic printing presses
• Prepare and stage raw materials such as substrates, inks and plates
• Monitor print quality and alert the operator to any inconsistencies
• Monitor print quality and alert the operator to any inconsistencies
• Help with press maintenance and basic trouble shooting tasks
• Accurately complete production documentation and job records

The ideal candidate for a Flexographic Printer Assistant would need:

• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or printing environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Physically capable of lifting up standing for long periods
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed
