We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Dustcart Drivers to join a busy waste collection team based in Abingdon.

This is a local, permanent position offering competitive hourly pay, consistent hours, and a reliable Monday to Friday schedule.

Role Overview

• Operate a Class 2 refuse (dustcart) vehicle safely and efficiently
• Work collaboratively as part of a crew with loaders
• Collect waste from residential and commercial premises
• Assist with bin handling as required
• Complete daily routes to a high standard of safety and service

This is a physically active role, ideal for candidates comfortable working within a supportive team environment.

Essential Requirements

• HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Minimum of 90 days’ Class 2 driving experience within the past 6 months
• Reliable, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic
• Waste or recycling sector experience is advantageous but not essential
