An Outstanding secondary school in Westminster is seeking an ambitious MFL Graduate Teaching Assistant (French, Spanish or German) to join their thriving Languages department until July, with a permanent opportunity available from September.

This school places strong emphasis on linguistic excellence and cultural enrichment. GCSE uptake in MFL is high, outcomes are strong, and behaviour standards allow teachers to teach and pupils to learn. Graduate Teaching Assistants in the department receive direct mentoring from experienced subject leaders and are gradually given increased responsibility.

You will:

• Support MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Deliver targeted speaking and grammar interventions
• Assist with GCSE exam preparation
• Support EAL learners where appropriate
• Help promote enthusiasm for languages beyond the classroom

You will gain exposure to curriculum sequencing, adaptive teaching in language acquisition, and strategies to improve confidence in speaking assessments.

Role Details:

• Full-time, term-time only
• Long-term until July
• Permanent route from September
• £25,000 minimum salary
• Westminster, Central London
