We're working with a highly-regarded design and build contractor known for delivering high-quality CAT A & B refurbishment and commercial fit-out projects across the UK. Their portfolio includes premium workplaces, leisure schemes, high-end hospitality venues, luxury restaurants, and bespoke commercial environments.

They are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This role involves managing multiple refurbishment and fit-out schemes, ensuring strong commercial control, quality, and client satisfaction across fast-paced D&B projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the commercial delivery of CAT A & B fit-out and refurbishment schemes

• Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and detailed cost plans

• Producing bills of quantities and tender documentation

• Handling valuations, variations, and change control

• Managing subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and contracts

• Monitoring project progress and costs against budget

• Building effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors

• Providing accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and final accounts

Requirements

• Experience as a QS or Senior QS within commercial fit-out, refurbishment, or D&B

• Strong understanding of CAT A & B works

• Solid commercial awareness and negotiation skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

• Clear communication skills and a confident, client-facing approach

• Methodical, organised, and proactive working style

• Relevant construction or quantity surveying qualifications

Salary/Benefits

• Salary £57,500 – £75,000 plus package
