Location: STEM Specialist Secondary School, Brent, North West London
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

This dynamic school is a high-achieving, non-selective secondary school specializing in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). The Role

As a Graduate Physics Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support GCSE and A-Level students in Physics and occasionally in Chemistry, Biology, and Maths.
  • Work with small groups and individual students to address specific learning needs and help them achieve their academic goals.
  • Assist teachers in preparing lessons, managing classrooms, and delivering engaging content.
  • Play an active role in the school community by contributing to extracurricular activities and STEM-focused initiatives.
  • Gain valuable experience and training that will prepare you for a future career in teaching.

About You We are looking for motivated STEM graduates who:

  • Hold a degree (minimum 2:1) in Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
  • Are passionate about inspiring young minds and promoting STEM education.
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Are proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn.
  • May have prior tutoring or teaching experience (desirable but not essential).
