A well-respected primary school in Sefton is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to join their school on a long-term basis starting ASAP, running through to July 2026.

Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant | Person Specification

• Role: Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant
• Minimum 2:1 degree in Education, Psychology, or a core subject
• Previous classroom experience is an advantage but not essential
• A genuine passion for working with primary-aged pupils, including those with SEN
• Available to start as soon as possible

• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to pupils
• Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver engaging, well-planned lessons
• Offer both academic and emotional support to children with additional needs

• Full-time role: Monday–Friday, 32.5 hours per week (term-time only)
• Competitive pay: £500–£540 per week
• Start date: ASAP for the rest of the academic year initially
