TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Primary School in Salford who are looking to appoint a 1-2-1 Teaching Assistant to support a child in Year 5. The school is looking for someone who can provide consistent and positive support throughout the school day.

The school is looking to take on a 1-2-1 Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful 1-2-1 Teaching Assistant will work closely with a Year 5 pupil with Autism / ASD, supporting them to access learning, engage with classroom activities and develop their independence.

The successful 1-2-1 Teaching Assistant will have:

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• Experience supporting children with Autism / ASD
• Experience working with children in a Primary School setting
• A patient and nurturing approach
• Strong communication skills
• A positive and adaptable attitude
