About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced Restaurant Manager to join a busy 4-star hotel in St Ives. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional who enjoys leading a team, delivering exceptional customer service and working in a lively hotel environment.

The hotel offers a varied and fast-paced operation, including restaurant service, private functions, special events and weddings. You will play an important role in ensuring every guest receives an excellent experience, whether dining in the restaurant or attending a special occasion.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the restaurant and ensure smooth service.

• Lead, motivate and support the team to maintain excellent service standards.

• Help coordinate and deliver weddings, functions and special events.

• Ensure a high standard of guest service across restaurant and event operations.

• Assist with staff rotas, stock control and the smooth running of daily operations.

• Train and develop team members, encouraging a positive team culture.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and food safety.

• Work closely with hotel management and other departments to ensure successful service delivery.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in restaurant management or a supervisory role within hospitality.

• Experience in a busy hotel, restaurant or events environment.

• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

• The ability to manage a busy service while maintaining attention to detail.

• A hands-on approach and the confidence to lead by example.

• A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
