An ambitious and well-resourced secondary school in the Kenley area is seeking motivated and academically accomplished graduates to join their student support team after October half term. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity supporting secondary-aged pupils both inside and outside the classroom.

The Role

As a Graduate Learning Mentor, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support students' academic progress, engagement and confidence across the secondary phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing one-to-one and small-group intervention sessions.
• Supporting students in lessons across a variety of subject areas.
• Helping pupils who require additional support to achieve their academic targets.
• Encouraging positive attitudes towards learning and achievement.
• Supporting behaviour, attendance and student engagement initiatives.
• Working collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams.
• Assisting students with organisation, revision strategies and study skills.
• Monitoring progress and providing feedback to staff.
• Acting as a positive role model within the school community.

What We're Looking For

• A Russell Group University graduate.
• A 1st Class or 2:1 degree in any subject.
• Strong academic credentials throughout education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people.
• The ability to build positive relationships with secondary-aged students.
• An interest in teaching, educational psychology, mentoring or youth support.
• A proactive, professional and enthusiastic attitude.

Location & Travel

The school is located in the Kenley area of South London and would particularly suit:
