Practice Nurse – Cambridge

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Practice Nurse to join a friendly and supportive GP practice in Cambridge.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Practice Nurse looking to join a well-established team, with flexible hours and an attractive rate of up to £27 per hour.

The Role

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality nursing care to the practice population, working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.

The role will include:

• Treatment room duties

• Wound care and dressings

• Immunisations and vaccinations

• Health checks and routine reviews

• Supporting patients with long-term conditions

• Cervical screening

• Chronic disease management

• Patient education and health promotion

• Working collaboratively with GPs, ANPs, HCAs and the wider clinical team

• Maintaining accurate clinical records

• Supporting the practice with its wider clinical and quality improvement work

The Ideal Candidate

The practice is looking for a confident and experienced Practice Nurse who is:

• NMC registered

• Experienced within primary care

• Confident across a broad range of treatment-room duties

• Experienced in long-term condition management

• Able to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Passionate about delivering high-quality patient care
