Inventory Controller - Blackburn

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Inventory Controller to join our well-established client based in Blackburn.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Stock Controller, Inventory Clerk or Stock Administrator or Quality Control Operative.

Rates of Pay:

• £13.50 - £16.50 per hour DOE

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 8-hour shifts
• Flexible working hours between 08:00 and 18:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as an Inventory Controller are:

• Carrying out regular stock counts, cycle counts and audits across both sites
• Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies
• Maintaining accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
• Liaising with warehouse, production and logistics teams
• Supporting goods-in, goods-out and stock movement processes
• Ensuring stock is stored, labelled and recorded correctly
• Assisting with year-end stock takes and compliance processes
• Analysing stock data and identifying inventory issues
• Maintaining accurate inventory documentation and records

Essential Skills:

To be successful as an Inventory Controller, you will need:

• Previous experience in an inventory, stock control or warehouse administration role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Confidence using inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel
• The ability to travel between two sites when required
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• A proactive, reliable and well-organised approach to work
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
