A luxury four-star country house hotel in Cornwall is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join its team.

Set within 65 acres of beautiful grounds overlooking the Helford River, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to lead a busy restaurant operation and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Please note: Due to the hotel's rural location near Falmouth, own transport is preferred.

The Role

As Restaurant Manager, you will:

• Lead, motivate and develop the restaurant team.
• Manage the day-to-day restaurant operation.
• Ensure consistently high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
• Drive sales and support departmental financial targets.
• Manage staffing, stock and departmental costs.
• Train and develop team members.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally.
• Work closely with hotel management and other departments.
• Maintain food hygiene, health & safety and operational standards.
• Support functions, events and wider hotel operations when required.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Previous Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager or supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and customer service.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• High standards and strong attention to detail.
• A calm, positive and hands-on approach.
• Commercial awareness and experience working in a busy restaurant environment.
• Own transport preferred due to the rural location.
