Salary: £95 - £115 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEND setting in Selly Oak supporting pupils of mixed ages with a range of additional needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH needs. The setting provides a supportive and structured environment where pupils are encouraged to engage positively with learning and develop their confidence and independence.

The setting is looking to appoint SEND Teaching Assistants for day-to-day and long-term opportunities, with an immediate start. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will support pupils across different age groups, provide classroom and individual support and adapt their approach to meet a range of mixed SEND needs.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND

• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs

• Experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs

• Confidence working across different age groups

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
