TeacherActive is seeking enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to support schools across Nottingham and the surrounding areas.

We collaborate closely with a diverse range of excellent primary schools, each offering supportive leadership teams, welcoming staff, and excellent facilities. Opportunities are available across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with flexible day-to-day cover as well as longer-term placements.

The Role

• Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the UK curriculum
• Provide flexible cover across KS1 or KS2
• Follow lesson plans to maintain continuity of learning
• Manage classroom behaviour positively and effectively
• Differentiating activities to support pupils’ varied needs
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and school staff
• Create a safe, inclusive and encouraging classroom environment
• Adhere to all safeguarding, medical and allergy procedures

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Enhanced DBS check uploaded to the Update Service
• Experience teaching the UK primary curriculum
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Understanding of Benedict’s Law and allergy safety protocols
• Thorough knowledge of safeguarding requirements
• Ability to adapt quickly to different schools and year groups
• Creative, enthusiastic and professional approach
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
