Graduate Teaching Assistant – Leek Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity | September 2026 Start Salary: £500 - £560 per week (£100–£115 per day) Start building your career in education this September Have you recently graduated and are looking for a role that gives you more than just a first job after university? A welcoming and supportive school in Leek (ST13 6DH) is looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate who wants to gain practical experience working with children and young people while exploring a future career in teaching, SEND, educational psychology or another education-based profession. You'll work alongside qualified teachers and experienced school staff, developing your confidence and understanding of what it takes to support pupils effectively in the classroom. All degree subjects are welcome, and we accept graduates with a First, 2:1 or 2:2 degree. You don't need to have studied Education — we're interested in your attitude, communication skills and enthusiasm for working with young people. What Does the Role Offer?

Previous experience working with children or young people is beneficial but not essential.
