Van Driver – Temp to Perm

Newent | £13.25 per hour | Full-time | Temp to Perm

We’re currently looking for a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join our client’s busy delivery operation in Newent.

This is a temp-to-perm position, offering the opportunity to secure a permanent role following a successful temporary period.

You’ll be responsible for delivering products to customers across the UK, with a typical day involving 5–10 drops. The role involves regular manual handling, so you’ll need to be comfortable being hands-on.

What’s involved?

• Driving a 3.5-tonne delivery van
• Completing around 5–10 deliveries per day
• Delivering to customers across England
• Loading and unloading goods
• Following planned delivery routes and schedules
• Early starts, with shifts from 3am onwards
• Working up to 50 hours per week
• Overtime paid at 1.33x after 45 hours

What we’re looking for

• Full UK driving licence
• Previous van driving or delivery experience
• Good knowledge of UK roads and motorway networks
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Flexible with working hours
• Own transport due to the location and early start times
