We’re currently recruiting for a KS1 PPA Teacher in Sefton (L20). This KS1 PPA Teacher role is full-time, and you will be teaching across KS1. You will be given a weekly timetable as to what class you will be in each day. This role is on a long-term basis starting in September and is a temporary role. The role will be initially 8 weeks and then reviewed 

You’ll be joining a supportive and nurturing school focused on helping children respect and encourage one another. This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced educator to become a familiar face in a school where staffing, culture and community go hand in hand.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Teaching the children in class and ensuring they complete their work to a high standard
• Guiding children through the curriculum, marking work and setting homework tasks
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Upholding the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
• Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong

Requirements or Skills:

• A teaching qualification with QTS
• Recent teaching experience in a school or education setting
• Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Exceptional organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
