Great opportunity to work as a Hygiene Operative for our client, which deals with clothing, shoes, toys, and home furniture.

Staffline is recruiting Hygiene Operatives in Sherburn-in-Elmet.

The rate of pay is:
Day rate £13.21 per hour
Night rate £13.21 per hour + night premium £2.36ph between 22:00pm-06:00am

Overtime is available and is paid at:
Day OT rate : £19.82 per hour
Night OT rate: £19.82 per hour + night premium £2.36ph between 22:00pm-06:00am.

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, 4 on 4 off, and the hours of work are:
- Days 07:00-19:00
- Nights 19:00-07:00

Your Time at Work
The Site Hygiene Team is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, hygienic and professional working environment across the site.

The team supports the daily operation by carrying out routine and deep-cleaning activities, maintaining welfare areas, supporting waste management and responding to hygiene or housekeeping issues throughout the building.
Main Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining offices, meeting rooms, reception areas and communal areas.
- Cleaning toilets, washrooms, showers facilities.
- Maintaining canteens, kitchens and staff welfare areas.
- Cleaning floors, stairwells, corridors, entrances and walkways.
- Carrying out scheduled deep-cleaning tasks.
- Cleaning glass, mirrors, doors, stainless steel surfaces and touchpoints.
- Using cleaning equipment safely, including vacuums, scrubber dryers, buffers, sweepers, wet vacuums and jet washers.

Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will have:

- Good spoken English
- Attention to detail
- Able to follow instructions
- Flexibility to do various tasks across the shift
- Physically fit due to the nature of the role, lots of walking is involved and repetitive moving and lifting of stock.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential, as full training is provided.
