TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School based in Harrogate, who are looking to appoint a Primary Teacher. The school provides education for primary-aged pupils and is looking for a confident and enthusiastic teacher to support learning within Key Stage 1 / KS1.

The school is looking for a Primary Teacher for day-to-day or long-term roles from September, with a particular focus on supporting pupils across KS1. The successful Primary Teacher will have a strong knowledge of phonics and early reading, alongside the ability to deliver engaging lessons and maintain excellent classroom management.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Primary teaching experience in the UK
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
• Experience delivering phonics and supporting early reading
• Excellent classroom management
• A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
