Location: Belper, Derby

Salary: £14.25 - £16.50 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working alongside a well-established nursery in Belper that is dedicated to providing a caring, stimulating and inclusive environment for every child. The setting places a strong emphasis on learning through play, encouraging children's confidence, independence and curiosity while supporting them to reach key developmental milestones.

The nursery is looking to appoint a Nursery Practitioner to join their friendly team on a full-time basis with an immediate start. Working flexible shifts between 8am and 6pm, you will support children's learning through continuous provision, creative play and small group activities, while contributing to observations, promoting the Early Years Foundation Stage and providing personal care where required.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 3 or Level 2 Childcare qualification, or at least 6 months' relevant Early Years experience
• A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and early learning goals
• Experience supporting continuous provision and delivering engaging play-based learning
• Confidence working with children in small groups to encourage their development and independence
• Experience supporting children's personal care needs
• A caring, reliable and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners
