We are looking to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant on a day-to-day basis from September, with the possibility of long-term work for the right SEND Teaching Assistant. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will support students on a one-to-one and small group basis, work closely with teaching staff, and help maintain a calm and engaging learning environment. This SEND Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone who is flexible, proactive, and committed to helping students with additional needs achieve positive outcomes.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
• Experience within an education, SEND, or care setting
• A proactive and supportive attitude to learning
