We are currently recruiting Hygiene Operatives to join a leading food production company based in St Helens. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a busy and supportive team, helping to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety within a modern production facility.

As a Hygiene Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring all production areas, machinery, and equipment are cleaned and sanitised to the required food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise production lines, machinery, and equipment.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the production facility.
• Follow cleaning schedules and hygiene procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with company guidelines.
• Dispose of waste correctly and maintain a clean working environment.
• Complete cleaning records and documentation accurately.
• Adhere to all food safety, health & safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure minimal disruption to operations.

Requirements

• Previous hygiene or cleaning experience within a food production or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, hardworking, and committed to maintaining high standards.
• Understanding of health & safety procedures.

Working Days

Monday to Friday

Shift Options & Pay Rates

• AM Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm – £12.93 per hour
• PM Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm – £14.48 per hour
• Night Shift: 10:00pm – 6:00am – £15.51 per hour
