We’re currently recruiting for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a Secondary School in Newcastle on a long-term, short-term, or temp-to-perm basis, starting in September. You'll be joining a supportive and inclusive secondary school that is committed to helping every young person reach their full potential. With a strong focus on wellbeing, mental health, and inclusive education, the school provides an environment where students are encouraged to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This role is ideal for a Psychology graduate looking to gain meaningful, hands-on experience before pursuing a career in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Counselling, Social Work, or another child-focused profession. Working alongside experienced teachers, SEND professionals and pastoral staff, you'll gain valuable insight into child development, behaviour, emotional regulation and additional learning needs while making a genuine difference to the lives of young people.
