Milk Education is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Sheffield.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive school community where you will play an important role in helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally. Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant or have relevant experience working with children, we would love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons.

  • Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.

  • Help create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.

  • Support children with a range of learning abilities and additional needs.

  • Encourage positive behaviour and build pupils' confidence.

  • Prepare classroom resources and assist with daily classroom routines.

  • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to ensure every child reaches their potential.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery or similar educational setting.

  • A positive, patient and caring approach.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A genuine passion for supporting children's education and wellbeing.

  • The ability to use initiative and adapt throughout the school day.

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

  • The Right to Work in the UK.
