TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of welcoming private day nurseries across Manchester. These well-established settings are dedicated to providing outstanding Early Years education through creative, play-based learning, ensuring every child feels safe, supported and inspired to grow in confidence while reaching key developmental milestones.

The nurseries are looking to appoint enthusiastic Qualified Nursery Practitioners on a temporary basis, with opportunities for long-term placements for the right candidate. You will predominantly be working within private day nurseries, supporting children aged 6 months to 5 years as they learn, play and develop. As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, you will deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework, encourage children's social, emotional and educational development, and act as a caring, positive role model. You'll have a genuine understanding of how young children learn, be confident supporting positive behaviour, and create an environment where every child feels valued, encouraged and excited to explore. Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable but not essential.

The successful Qualified Nursery Practitioner will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
• A minimum of 6 months' experience working within a nursery or childcare setting
• A good understanding of the EYFS framework and the importance of learning through play
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach with a genuine passion for supporting children's development
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable but not essential
