A position has arisen within the Service Department for a CNC Support Engineer.

Job Description

The Role

The role will require the successful applicant to be able to carry out the following, as part of the Spares Team on a daily basis:

• Assist engineers to find part numbers from machine manuals
• Assist engineers to identify spindles for all machines
• Raise PIDBs to all Mazak factories to assist with parts Delivery Information
• Raise quotations for customers
• Raise orders from customer order confirmation
• Liaise with suppliers for delivery information and availability of parts

The Person

Essential Criteria

• Ability to problem solve and think outside the box
• Team player who can work to deadlines
• Ability to work under pressure but maintain very high standards of work
• Have a positive attitude and be able to work under own initiative when required
• Good knowledge of Mazak products
• Computer literate

Desirable Criteria

• Experience / ability to use various computer systems
