A friendly and inclusive primary school located in Nantwich CW5 5SS is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates to gain practical experience within a primary school setting, develop essential classroom skills, and build a strong foundation for a successful career working with children.

As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and wider support staff to help pupils achieve their academic, social, and emotional potential throughout their primary education.

About You, To be considered for this role, you will :

  • Hold a 2:1 degree or above (or be predicted to achieve this)
  • Demonstrate a positive, proactive, and professional attitude
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be passionate about supporting children's learning and development
  • Be eager to gain practical experience within a primary school environment
  • Be considering a future career in primary teaching or education
  • Have the right to work in the UK

The Role, Your responsibilities will include :

  • Supporting classroom learning across the primary curriculum
  • Delivering literacy, numeracy, and phonics interventions to individuals and small groups
  • Providing personalised 1:1 support for pupils who require additional guidance
  • Supporting pupils with varying learning needs and helping to remove barriers to learning
  • Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence, independence, and engagement
  • Assisting with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and learning resources
  • Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment where every child can flourish
