Maintenance Technician (Electrical)
A respected healthcare provider is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Electrical) to join its Facilities team. The role will support a busy site with planned and reactive maintenance, with occasional travel to other locations and participation in an out-of-hours rota.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works.

• Perform first-level fault finding and repairs on equipment, building assets, and specialist medical equipment.

• Complete minor improvement works and support the wider Facilities team with mechanical and plumbing tasks as needed.

• Conduct statutory checks, including emergency lighting, PAT testing, and fire alarm support.

• Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota.

Requirements:

• Recognised Trade Apprenticeship.

• City & Guilds Level 1, 2, 3 in Electrical Engineering (18th Edition) or equivalent.

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance, ideally within a healthcare, residential, or similar environment.

• Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance.

• Clean driving license for occasional travel between sites.

• Compassionate approach with the ability to work sensitively in a hospice environment.
