Design & Technology Teacher (Maternity Cover – 1 Year Fixed Term, Immediate Start)
Location: Near Upper Warlingham / Whyteleafe (on-site parking available)
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join a successful and supportive secondary school on a one-year fixed-term maternity cover contract, starting as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity for a committed teacher to join a well-resourced department and make an immediate impact in a school that values high-quality teaching, excellent behaviour, and smaller-than-average class sizes.

About the Role

  • Teach Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons that inspire students

  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress

  • Contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking department

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) or an experienced unqualified teacher with strong subject knowledge

  • Experience teaching Design & Technology in a secondary setting

  • A passion for practical learning and student engagement

  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
