€1,900 - €2,900/month + service charge + accommodation
I am looking for a Sous Chef to join the kitchen team of a fine dining restaurant within the portfolio of an established hospitality group in Malta. The group is known for operating premium dining concepts with a strong emphasis on quality, creativity, and consistency.
• Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen • Oversee service and ensure consistent execution of dishes to a fine dining standard • Supervise, train, and develop junior kitchen staff • Assist with menu development and seasonal changes • Maintain strict hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times • Manage stock control, ordering, and waste reduction • Ensure efficient kitchen organisation during busy service periods • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a fine dining or high-end restaurant • Strong understanding of modern culinary techniques and kitchen operations • Proven ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail • Ability to perform under pressure in a high-intensity environment • Passion for gastronomy and high-quality ingredients |
