Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Home or School-Based)
Location: Corby and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible, during school hours (typically between 8:30am–3:30pm)
Pay: Competitive rates (dependent on experience and qualifications)

About the Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in the Corby area. This role involves delivering personalised, one-to-one education either in a pupil’s home or within a school setting, supporting students who may need alternative provision or additional academic support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, tailored lessons based on individual pupil needs
• Support learners with a range of needs, including SEN, SEMH, or those outside mainstream education
• Adapt lesson plans to suit different abilities and learning styles
• Build strong, positive relationships to promote confidence and engagement
• Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress
• Work collaboratively with parents, schools, and other professionals

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or support roles)
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Ability to plan and deliver flexible, creative lessons
• Patient, resilient, and supportive approach
• Relevant qualifications (teaching, tutoring, or degree-level education preferred but not essential)
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable
