Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (In-Person)

Location: Corby (Pupil’s Home or School Setting)
Hours: During School Hours (Flexible)

About the Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated 1:1 tutors to support pupils in the Corby area. Tutoring sessions will take place either in the pupil’s home or within a school setting, tailored to the individual learning needs of each student. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalised 1:1 tutoring sessions
• Adapt lessons to meet each pupil’s learning style and needs
• Support pupils in their academic progress and engagement
• Monitor and report on student development
• Maintain a professional, safe, and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ teaching or tutoring experience, or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred
• Strong knowledge of core subjects (Maths, English, Science)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply)
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
