A high volume manufacturer in Trafford park are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to minimise plant downtime, assist with projects and implement PPM/ Continuous improvement across their brand new, state of the art facility.

Reporting in to the newly appointed Senior Engineer, this position offers training and development from day one. This is a new position within a new site providing tonnes of future opportunities

Responsibilities after training:

• Carry out planned and reactive repairs to a variety equipment and mechanical systems
• Carry out planned Maintenance activities.
• Minimising downtime and contributing to the achievement of production targets
• Supervision of outside contractors/service engineers and tradesmen as required
• Management of small projects such as equipment installation or staff training
• To develop and implement process improvements
• Electrical fault finding/ repair on sensors, motors, panels, drives etc... 

About You

• Time served Mechanical Engineer from a high volume, continuous production environment.
• You will ideally have an electrical qualification and fault-finding experience however this isn't essential.
• As the Mechanical Engineer you will be happy to work on your own or part of a team. This is a great opportunity to put your own stamp on the department and lead from the front.
