Day Services Support Worker

Are you a passionate Day Service Support Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Day Service Support Worker to work in a service based in Halifax.

Pay Rates: £13.26 - £17.14 Umbrella Rates

Information the Role: Successful candidates will be offered 37.5 hours per week for 12 month initially with views to extend, working Monday-Friday from 08:30am – 5pm.

Candidates must be able to commute to Higgins Close, Halifax, HX1 2ES . Lower Edge Day Centre, Shannon Road, Rastrick, HD6 3LD and Royd Square, Bond Street, Hebden Bridge, HX7 7DE.  

What you will be doing:

• Supporting individuals
• Personal Care

Skills & Professional Characteristics needed:

• Residents have some very complex needs, including mental and physical injuries so vast experience, community care, residential care, supported living experience is require  
• Creativity to get involved in different activities – outgoing personality – personal care, emotional support but mainly your ability to keep people occupied and entertained and out of the house 

Essential Requirements:

• Experience working with primary health needs, don't need to be registered nurses but clinical experience would be good  
• NVQ L2/3 would be ideal to show they have the knowledge basis 
• Driver is desirable but non-essential
