Job Overview
We are seeking a Reach Counterbalance & Warehouse Operative to support our client’s busy warehouse operations. You will be responsible for handling and moving goods safely and efficiently, including bulk bags, FIBCs (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers), woven polypropylene sacks, and stretch wrap. This role is essential in maintaining smooth warehouse operations and ensuring all safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
• Safely operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts
• Move, load, and unload materials including bulk bags and FIBCs
• Support general material handling and storage processes
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with stock checks
• Keep the warehouse organised, properly stacked, and labelled
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices
• Assist with packaging, wrapping, and order preparation
• Work collaboratively with the warehouse team

Qualifications & Skills
• Valid Reach FLT licence (essential)
• Previous warehouse experience
• Able to lift and move heavy items when required
• Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong understanding of warehouse Health & Safety procedures

Additional details

• Hours of Work: Monday–Thursday: 07:00–15:45 and Friday: 07:00–13:30
• Job Title: Reach FLT / Warehouse Operative
• Duration: Ongoing
• Pay Rate: £12.70 per hour (PAYE)
• Pay Frequency: Weekly (every Friday)
