Senior Care Assistant

Pay rate starting from: £14.01 an hour (including holiday pay)

We are offering an exciting opportunity to support a range of individuals with varying needs in a 32 bed specialist residential service. During your journey with us, we can offer you full support through the onboarding process and your first 12 weeks in the role, and also provide full comprehensive training!

 

As a Senior Care Assistant, you must:

• Be over the age of 18 to apply
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Be a UK resident, we are unable to offer sp0ns0rship.
• Have a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle 
• Have 6 months prior experience in a healthcare setting
• Have excellent communication skills and a basic knowledge of the sector
• Be able to build a strong rapport with service users who have varying needs and abilities
• Have a genuine passion working in the healthcare sector
• have an NVQ level 2 or 3 in healthcare and experience as a senior carer

 

The duties of a Senior Care Assistant include assisting with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation and medication management, promoting independence and a sense of well-being among service users, and you will be supporting needs such as:

• Dementia
• Learning Disability
• Mental Health Condition
• Older Person Care
• Physical Disability
• Respite Care
• Alzheimer's, Epilepsy & Parkinson's Disease
