Waste and Recycling Manager

Venn Group are working with an NHS Trust to recruit a Waste and Recycling Manager to be responsible for developing the trust’s waste management and influence waste policies.

Salary: circa £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)

Length: Permanent

Location: London

The successful candidate will:

• Be responsible for managing and developing operational wate management, reduction, recycling on site waste collection and disposal activities within the Trust
• Participate in the preparation and updating of the Trust’s strategies, policies and staff training for its waste management and environmental services
• Be responsible for training and educating staff on clinical waste across multiple sites
• Be responsible for waste management and deal with any waste issues across all sites within the trust
• Help meet new government targets for separating waste into sub-categories

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience of clinical waste management in a large organisation
